Without the commitment and involvement of members, the Club would not function.
Without the abilities and talent we would not have opportunities to perform.
Here we tell you something of some of our members and their involvement with
Silverpeaks Country Music Club.
JOHN MORGAN
|

John, one of our founding members, has been involved in Country Music Clubs
since 1989.
His particular interest is music from the 50's & 60's.
He's had two stints on the Committee and assisted in the organising
of our very successful concerts at Mosgiel's Coronation Hall.

MELISSA PARTRIDGE
|
Also one of our founding members, Melissa recently moved to Australia to
further her musical career. Involved in Country Music Clubs since early childhood she has
been an inspiration to many.

TREVOR GRAHAM
|
Trevor, a founding member and a Past President of Silverpeaks Country Music
Club is known locally as the "Singing Caretaker".
As well as work and Club involvment, Trevor entertains at local homes for
the elderly, usually accompanying himself on Guitar.
Also a winner of various Country Music Club Awards.

TEISHA SEYMOUR
|
From Milton, Teisha is also a member of nearby Balclutha & Otago CM Clubs. An Award winner and
participant in our Clubs activities since a young girl of eight.

MITCHELL SMITH
|
Joining the Club in 2007, Mitchell has gained a number of awards both in NZ and Australia -
notably Intermediate Overall NZ Gold Guitars Winner 2008 and at Tamworth 2009 the Bundaberg
Rum Jazzer Quest. He has has been nominated for a scholarship to the Camerata Music School.

KYLIE PRICE

Kylie has been with the club since 2003 and has been a succesful participant at Southern Alps, Silverstream
and Whitestone Awards. Her most recent award was at the NZ Gold Guitars 2009 as a winner
of the Traditional Section.

CLARE WERETA
|
If anyone works behind the scenes, Clare does. As Secretary since the club was formed in 2003,
many committe meetings, letters written and other organisational matters have been
attended to by her.
Clare often attends Workshops and is also on the Dance floor
during performances.

STEPHEN DOWNES
|
Stephen is another of those invalueable members who work behind the scenes.
On the mixing desk since joining the club in 2006,
Steve's contribution in maintaining the standard we have set in our performances is greatly appreciated.

GEENA FAGAN
|
Recipiant in 2009 of the first Scholarship awarded by Silverpeaks CMC.
